PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Chris Swinney is a singer/songwriter, musician and producer from North Northumberland. He grew up in the small mining village of Shilbottle and, in his early teens, became hooked on the music of The Beatles, Lindisfarne and The Beach Boys. This inspired him to learn guitar and start writing songs of his own.

Chris performed as a solo artist and vocalist/guitarist in a few bands but it wasn't long before he discovered that writing and recording songs was what he really wanted to do.

Chris has recorded three albums and is currently working on a fourth which he hopes will be released in 2008.

Dennis Sinnott, who was head of copyright at EMI in the 1980s and is now a publisher and consultant specialist in the music industry had this to say about his visit to Chris' page:
