2007 is the start of my musical journey. I've learned from my job as a trauma ICU/RN that people are capable of coping even in times of great stress or crisis. I see myself as an instrument to calm those fears as a bedside nurse or as a songwriter. My music is all about emotions,struggles, healing and hope. You don't realize how precious life is, until the unexpected happens...
1.Until the music lasts...The inspiration from this song was from a couple who's been married for 65 years. The husband woke up from a coma to share a few emotional hours before saying goodbye.
2. Time to spare...The events that are happening right now are the memories of tomorrow. It's all about togetherness and reaching out to the people you care for the most.
3. Voice in you're ear...A retired opera singer, nobody recognizes her anymore. She could barely open her eyes when I took care of her, but fought back to tell me her whole story.
4. A way out...A young lady who kept searching for her identity, but a series of wrong decisions have left her deeper into her depression. She's now facing the world with a brand new attitude
5. Kristobal's blues...A young man who is trying to get his life together, until he was hit by a speeding car. Traumatic brain injury. "What's going On in his mind?", I ask myself. I gave a copy of this song to his mother, who was there everyday, and it changed our total outlook in life forever.
