Who are your musical influences?

Luther Vandross, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston

How do you write your songs? Do you start with the music or the lyrics.

I write my songs starting off with a simple music melody. Then, I slowly add words that mean something to me at that current time in my life.

Can you play any instruments if so which ones and do you have a favourite.

I play acoustic guitar and trombone. My favourite would have to be the trombone due to the musical experiences I have during Mardi Gras in my home state of Louisiana.

How did you get into music, was it from an early age?

I was always a music lover. However, I did start taking it seriously until I began singing in weddings at eight years old.

Do you have any musical training?

Yes, I have been in voice training periodically for the past five years.

Which of your songs are you most proud of?

I am very proud of “Gotta Say Goodbye” because of the words of encouragement that it gives to listeners to help them pursue their dreams.

Where were you born, and do you still live there?

I was born in the Alexandria, Louisiana in the U.S.; however, I currently reside in Dallas, Texas.

Where would you like to see yourself in five years time?

In five years time, I would like for people to hear, understand, and love my music on an international level.

Gotta Say Goodbye ...I chose this song because it was written as a source of self-support for what I was experiencing while completing this music project. Several people told me that I would never make it in the music business, but I was not going to let them stop me. I have a passion for music that I can put aside.
